About Colton Phoenix, Founder

Colton Phoenix was born and raised in Oklahoma City, growing up in the lawn care world, learning the trade hands-on from his father, Bryan, who ran his own successful lawn care company. Starting at just 12 years old, Colton pitched in after school—mowing lawns, tackling landscaping projects, and even repairing irrigation systems to keep everything running smoothly.

Building the Family Legacy

Throughout high school and college, Colton kept lawn care and landscaping as a reliable side hustle, honing his skills on real jobs for neighbors and friends. What began as weekend work naturally evolved into his full-time passion, leading him to launch Phoenix Lawn & Pest with the same dedication and detail-oriented approach he learned from his dad. Today, the company reflects that family-rooted commitment to quality, reliability, and treating every client like one of their own.

What Drives Colton

Colton’s favorite part of the business is still being outdoors, breathing fresh air while turning clients’ visions into reality—whether it’s crafting a lush, weed-free lawn, designing a custom landscape that fits their dream backyard, or solving pest problems so families can enjoy their space worry-free. He thrives on seeing the transformation from overgrown yard to neighborhood standout.

Outside the Office

When he’s not out in the field, Colton stays active training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hitting the gym, and relaxing with his fiancée and their dog, Ruby. It’s that balance of hard work, personal growth, and family time that keeps him energized to deliver top-notch service across the OKC metro.
